Why this is not just another travel blog

Updated: Feb 5

In 2026, we can no longer talk about travel as if the world were a postcard.

Travel today comes with questions.

With doubts.

With emotions.

With a global context that shapes the way we move, choose destinations, and look at places.

Paris is not frozen in time.

France is not a cliché.

And tourism cannot be disconnected from reality.

This space is not about chasing trends, listing the “latest hot spots,” or pretending everything is light and effortless.

It’s about understanding places from the inside — through culture, daily life, history, politics, food, habits, tensions, beauty, contradictions.

I write as:

  • a Parisian on the ground

  • a professional guide

  • a cultural bridge between worlds

  • and a woman deeply engaged with her city and its present moment

This Gazette is a hybrid.

Between travel and society.

Between lived experience and cultural decoding.

Between Paris and the world.

Here, I’ll talk about:

  • what it really means to travel today

  • how global events influence the way we experience cities

  • how Paris moves, reacts, resists, evolves

  • and why discovering a place also means listening, questioning, and understanding its reality

If you’re looking for glossy travel content, this might not be for you.

If you’re looking for depth, context, and an honest Parisian voice, welcome.
