Bistrot des Vosges Bar saveurs de l’Aveyron

Despite its name, this place is more of a restaurant, a mini brasserie.

Located on Boulevard Beaumarchais, this major axis leading from Place de la Bastille to Place de la République, at the corner of a small street leading to Place des Vosges and the Marais (rue du Pas de la Mule), you will find comforting cuisine but above all, to my taste, one of the best onion soups in Paris!

It's simple and unfussy and you can eat well, provided you arrive around 7:00 p.m. a table and quality service for 8 p.m. (usual dinner time in Paris).

If you have a cold (as I had the last time I went there), order a Grog (drink made with very hot tea, ginger, lemon, honey and a brown rum from the West Indies)! You will see, at the end of the tasting, you will already feel much better!
